What is a Worship VJ?

Like a DJ (Disk Jockey) who mixes sound tracks, and VJ (video Jockey) is someone who mixes video together.

VJ's are often used in nightclubs/discos to create atmospheric video and enhance the dancing experience, often projected on large and multiple screens around the room.

In the Church environment, it's similar - the Worship VJ will work along side others in the 'Worship Team' to help create an atmosphere or worship and to help focus and lead the congregation in worship.

A Fine Line?

There is a fine line between the video aiding and enhancing the worship and being a distraction or being the focus.
